Red Cross visits Westchester Intermediate School

Westchester Intermediate Principal Shawn Longacre, left, looks on as American Red Cross Representative Jonathan Atkinson, center, shows Westchester Intermediate sixth graders the prize they can win if they get an adult they know to donate blood at the upcoming blood drive at the school. The Red Cross Blood drive will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 30 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Atkinson came to the school to promote the blood drive to students and staff during their lunch periods. Sign up online to give at www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: westch. Walk-ins are also welcome.
