Cool Reads & Hot Chocolate: Young Adult and Adult Midwinter Reading Program

Young Adults (grades 6-9) and Adults are invited to Cool Reads & Hot Chocolate, Westchester Public Library’s 2012 winter reading program.   The program begins February 1 and ends February 26 at both Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton, and Hageman Library, 100 Francis St., Porter.  No pre-registration is required, but a valid Westchester Public Library card is necessary.

Read or listen to a book of personal choice checked out from Westchester Public Library.  Adult participants will fill out a review card for each book read and return the card to the Circulation desk at either Thomas or Hageman Library.   Homebound residents will give their filled out forms to their Homebound service provider who will turn the forms in for them.

Young adults will fill out a review card for each book read and return the card to the Reference desk at Thomas Library or the Circulation desk at Hageman Library.  Review cards are available at both libraries.

Each review card is an entry to win a prize in one of the weekly drawings at each library, for adult, homebound, and young adult.  Patrons do not need to be present to win.  Only one prize per person is allowed during the program.
