Updated Chesterton High School Football Web site Launched

The Chesterton Football Boosters Organization is proud to announce their launch of a newly designed and updated website. www.ChestertonFootball.com is now the place for supporters of the Chesterton High School Football team to visit in order to get updated information about the program. Hundreds enjoy Chesterton's 6th Annual Party in the Park

Approximately 800 children, adults and families attended Party in the Park this past weekend and participated in the fun, food and festivities of the event. Hosted by the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce, the annual summer celebration was held on Saturday, Aug. 27 at Thomas Centennial Park in downtown Chesterton. Local Aspiring Writers Invited to Submit the Best of Their Worst to WPL: A Dark and Stormy Contest

Westchester Public Library will sponsor a contest for local aspiring writers to showcase the best of their worst work.  Entrants are invited to submit the first sentence of their worst novel: a novel that doesn’t actually exist.  A Dark and Stormy Contest will begin Thursday, September 15, and will run through Monday, October 31.  Winners will be announced on Friday, November 4. World’s Fair House Tours at the Indiana Dunes

Join a National Park Service Ranger at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for a tour of five historic homes from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. These free tours are offered by reservation only on Saturday, October 22nd, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Each tour lasts one hour and fifteen minutes and includes an inside look at the Cypress Log Cabin, House of Tomorrow, Florida Tropical, Armco Ferro House, and the Wieboldt-Rostone home. Fall Harvest Days At Riverside Market
