Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore has Region's Cleanest Beaches

The National Resources Defense Council's (NRDC) recently released Testing the Waters 2011 Report shows that Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore beaches are rarely affected by pollution and are among the cleanest beaches in Indiana. Educator Workshops at the Indiana Dunes

The National Park Service in partnership with the Dunes Learning Center is offering a series of educator workshops, "Nurturing Young Scientists," July 18 - 22, at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Duneland 2011-12 School Year Registration

The first day of classes for all Duneland students is Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011. Elementary and Intermediate School students will register in their respective buildings on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 8 & 9 from 1-3 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Chesterton Middle School students will register by grade level.
