Lakeshore Athletic's 2011 Bingo Fundraiser

Area small businesses come together to support almost 500 young athletes who train and compete with Lakeshore Athletics of Valparaiso, IN. in their new 24,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility.

Sarah Starr and Shelly Surber will co-host the 2011 Lakeshore Athletics Bingo Fundraiser to raise money for new gymnastics, dance and cheer equipment on Friday, July 8, 2011.  The evening will include 12 rounds of Bingo with prizes, appetizers, raffles and shopping.

Shelly and Rob Surber, owners of Lakeshore Athletics describe their programs at Lakeshore Athletics, "With Regional and National Championship teams and graduates on Big 10 Collegiate Teams, we have run with the idea that kids can have fun, stay fit, become a family, and compete in front of thousands all the while building their self esteem.  All under one roof."

"The young people that compete and train at Lakeshore Athletics come from all over Northwest Indiana from Porter, Lake, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Starke, and Jasper Counties.  It is a great way for the kids to bond and learn to work as a team.  For some of the younger athletes, their first life long friends are made here." said Sarah Starr, a mom at Lakeshore.

Lakeshore Athletics is currently headquartered at The Courts of Northwest Indiana, a not for profit organization that is built on land that is to be dedicated entirely to programs for young people.

The 2011 Lakeshore Athletics Bingo Fundraiser will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at The Courts of Northwest Indiana, 127 East US Highway 6 (the corners of Highways 6 and 49), Valparaiso, IN 46383.  Registration and appetizers start at 5:00 pm, Bingo starts at 6:00 pm.  The event will consist of 12 games of Bingo, with the winner of each game receiving a prize from one of the following vendors: Lia Sophia, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Allure Tan, Body by Vi, Gold Canyon Candles, Matt's Repair, Inc., 31 Gifts, Uppercase Living, Jazzy Jems, and Dove Chocolate Discoveries.

Admission is $10 per guest and includes 12 bingo games, appetizers, and one raffle ticket.
