Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Annual Golf Outing

Save the date for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s 31st Annual Golf Outing.  The outing will be held on July 14, 2011 at Forest Park Golf Course in Valparaiso. It will be a shotgun four-person scramble that starts at 11:30 am. Prizes, raffles, and course betting opportunities will be available throughout the day. Food and beverages will also be provided. The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Duneland Council #5016, Chesterton Indiana is accepting applications for its 2011 scholarship program.  As part of LULAC’s education efforts, the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was established in 1975 to provide scholarships to Hispanic students attending colleges and universities. The Duneland Boys & Girls Club Takes a Stand Against Tobacco

Members from the Duneland Boys & Girls Club joined thousands of kids across the country who took part in Kick Butts Day, a nationwide initiative that makes kids leaders in the effort to stop youth tobacco use.
