Save the date for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s 31st Annual Golf Outing. The outing will be held on July 14, 2011 at Forest Park Golf Course in Valparaiso. It will be a shotgun four-person scramble that starts at 11:30 am. Prizes, raffles, and course betting opportunities will be available throughout the day. Food and beverages will also be provided.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County kicked off its annual “It Just Takes One” campaign on Friday, February 25, 2011. Serving as this year’s campaign chair is Tim Rice of Lakeside Wealth Management.
The 2011 goal is to raise $225,190 for the Club’s annual operating expenses necessary to provide the quality programs and services to over 4,927 children and their families throughout Porter County.

Members from the Duneland Boys & Girls Club joined thousands of kids across the country who took part in Kick Butts Day, a nationwide initiative that makes kids leaders in the effort to stop youth tobacco use.
