Lakeshore Gymnastics Welcomes John Roethlisberger to Catch A Wave Invitational

Lakeshore Gymnastics, Dance & Cheer would like to announce three-time Olympian John Roethlisberger to guest at Lakeshore's Catch A Wave Invitational on November 20-21, 2010 at Chesterton High School.

The Lakeshore Invite is the largest meet in the north with 21 teams from around the state and 500 competitors! Competition starts at 8:00am Saturday and Sunday and finishes around 8:30pm each day.

John was a member of the USA National Team from 1988 through 2000. He was a member of six World Championship Teams and a member of the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympic Teams. John is one of the most accomplished male gymnasts in American history. John rewrote the collegiate record books by winning four Big Ten all-around titles and three NCAA all-around titles. He is the only gymnast in history to accomplish both.

John will be here all weekend to sign autographs, award medals to every competitor and to speak to the athletes, parents, and the press.

Lakeshore athletes include children from 4 counties and their surrounding cities including but not limited to, Chesterton, Michigan City, LaPorte, Crown Point, Valparaiso, Union Mills, Lowell, Merrillville, and Hobart.
