Donate Old Cell Phones

The Chesterton/Duneland Chapter of Kiwanis International is collecting old cell phones. The phones are refurbished and made 911 capable for emergency use for distribution at women's shelters in the community.

Kiwanis has boxes for the used cell phones at several drop off points in Chesterton:

• 1st Source Bank, 1500 S. Calumet Road
• Harris Bank, 502 E. 1100 North
• The Factory, 1050 Broadway
• Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce, 220 Broadway
• Third Coast Spice, 761 Indian Boundary Road
• Dres-Well Cleaners, 105 W. Porter Ave
• Duneland YMCA, 215 Roosevelt Road

Chesterton/Duneland Kiwanis Club is a local community organization dedicated to developing future generations of leaders. Kiwanis locally fundraises to benefit local charities and implements educational and other kinds of programs to benefit and grow the Duneland community's youth.
