TweetAdults 18 years of age and older are invited to “Breeze Through Summer”, Westchester Public Library’s summer reading program for adults. The program begins August 8 and ends August 28 at both Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., Chesterton, and Hageman Library, 100 Francis St., Porter. No pre-registration is required, but a valid Westchester Public Library card is necessary. High schoolers who wish to participate may see Thomas Library circulation manager Claire Williams.
Participants will simply read or listen to a book of their choice checked out from Westchester Public Library. Fill out the front and back of a review card for each book that is read, and return the card to the Circulation desk at either Thomas or Hageman Library. Review cards are available at both libraries.
Each review card is an entry to win a prize in one of the three grand prize drawings at each library. The drawings will be held each week at each library. Patrons do not need to be present to win. Only one prize per person is allowed.
For more information, call either Thomas Library at 926-7696 or Hageman Library at 926-9080.
