Lakeshore Elites Cheerleaders Take Home 1st Place Trophies

Lakeshore Elites Sr. All Girl Level 3 Team took 1st place at at New Prairie High School Cheerleading Invitational Sunday February 21, 2010 located in New Carlisle IN. This is talented group of girls representing Lakeshore Elites of Chesterton. They performed a 2 1/2 minute routine to music which included a cheer, dance, jump series, stunts and tumbling passes. This routine requires tremendous strength, skill and coordination.

Jeffery Michiaels, Madison Surber, Trinity Klein, and Roby Surber took first place for Lakeshore Elites All Star Cheer Program with their Sr.Co-ed stunt group "Twisted Image" at the NPHS cheer competition on Feb. 21st. They performed a one minute routine to music containing all four athletes flipping and twisting. This stunt group showed great athleticism, flexibility, strength, and balance. They will be performing this routine again at a upcoming local Portage cheer competition as well as at a National competition in Ohio.

Lakeshore Elites'(LSE) Jr. Coed Team took first place at New Prairie High School Cheerleading Invitational Sunday February 21, 2010 located in New Carlisle IN. Lakeshore Gymnastics & Dance of Chesterton has an amazing group of male and female athletes. They work hard as a team to perform a 2 1/2 minute competitive cheerleading routine to music including cheering, dancing, tumbling, and stunting. This is an amazing group of kids who are proud to be LSE!

Lakeshore Elites Mini Team won first place at New Prairie High School Cheerleading Invitational Sunday February 21, 2010 located in New Carlisle IN. Lakeshores Minis Team is specifically for children ages 4-8.We incorporate basic tumbling and cheer skills. They performed a 2 1/2 minute routine including dance, jumps, cheer, and stunting to a Hannah Montana cheer music! They were so happy to win a trophy! This amazing group of kids is coached by Kerbi Bowen, Courtney Brown, and Shelly Surber.
