After my previous experience here...I DOn't plan on moving back anytime soon. HOWEVER...if after talking to some current residents there, that I as well as other friends that know people still residing there...if I hear enough things about improvements abuot the place overall...then I may reconsider. As we were getting ready to move out...the new team did seem to be truly making an effort to really have things moving in the right direction.

Don't come back, they are all talk. after voicing my concerns, we have been told that basically some people have to follow the "rules" while others do not. They have no concern for the residents what so ever.

Wow...Definitely NOT good. I was actually hearing some good things (you know...someone who knows someone that lives there). What you mentioned was one of the issues we'd had living there. In ONE YEAR that we lived there...in OUR building alone, we saw SIX families come and go.

yeah, well we now have the pool open and as long as you know the people who work here it is being used after hours, being used as a dog run and as long as you live with someone who works here, you can have 50-80 pound dogs in the apartment and let them wander the grounds! we were told no dog over 30 pounds!

oh, gawd....still??! Pool used after hours...nice. That's a liability right there. Of course, if anything happens after hours to a tenant/pet at the pool?:: Deny deny deny is what they'll do. Well, at least the damn thing doesn't look like brackish sewer water, as it did when we left.

Your right absolutely, since these comments were originally made, things have changed quite a bit!! Enough for us to stay another year, thank you for pointing that out ! But I promise you there are people that can do what ever they want, when they want with no consequence, and hey I guess if that is what they can do so be it, it is not hurting anyone, really it isn't. I have no problem with people and dogs, I have one, but to tell a new tenant/prospective tenant, that as of May 2012 no dogs at all allowed and then let at least 2 families in after that with dogs, " because you know them" is not fair to the others that you let walk away because they had dogs.

ANd while things were addressed slowly previously, yes that has changed greatly as well. Maintenance is excellent now, everyone here is very friendly, and things are going great now, thank Marius as I probably would not have bothered to come back to post about it, but you are right, the good that is happening now should be acknowledged absolutely!! Great Job Barrington bridge for making a change and doing right by your tenants!!!

This place is terrible. The current manager, Robin, is rude, unprofessional, and LAZY. Nothing gets done around here. You put in a work order and wait months for them to fix it. Not to mention, it looks like a complete trashy dump. They used to have a "cleaning" lady who literally vacuumed the hallways. And now she does maintenance instead. So the hallways haven't been cleaned in months! And the snow removal was awful this winter. They didn't shovel or salt the walkways unless the snow stuck around for a few days. A man in our building, who doesn't work for them would take care of ours since they refuse to do there jobs.

It sounds like its gotten worse since I'd lived there. Didn't think that was possible, really. Sorry you're having a bad time there. Snow removal was bad for us also. The maintenance thing scares me. Hope your lease ends soon...so you can find somewhere better.
