Our apple tree is on the side yard of our Victorian home. We appreciate the tree but have no use for the fruit that covers our lawn every other summer. Is there a method of spraying to retard or eliminate fruit production altogether? Thanks.

Answer:
Yes, there are sprays available that can thin fruit off trees. In fact, the insecticide Sevin has fruit thinning properties on some fruit trees so it could do double duty for you. Good Luck, Chuck
