Question?
my mother has what she calls "wild iris's" over taken her back porch area. They are a tall plant and when in bloom have these orange color petals on them. We have mowed them down hundreds of times and my husband has tried to dig them up but the roots are really thick and there are ALOT of plants and so that makes the roots extremely dense. HOW DO WE GET RID OF THEM PERMENATELY??? Help us please!!! Lisa

Answer:
These sound like wild daylilies not iris. Hi-yield Kilzall will kill them root and all. It may take a few applications and would be best to use a spreader/sticker mixed with it for good adhesion to the foliage.
