In July of 2000, after working for three years as a carpenter, Sam Langley established a construction business called Langley Construction, Inc.  Having to learn the managerial, clerical and executive side of the business, Sam and his dedicated employees grew the framing company into what has become a professional and respectable organization. As the crew leaders began to assume more decision-making and networking responsibilities, Sam focused on construction management and general contracting.

The Chesterton based company has been involved in the construction of custom homes, apartment dwellings, and commercial buildings from St. Joseph, MI. to Indianapolis, IN. Langley Construction, Inc. fluctuates between 12 to as many as 29 employees depending upon current construction demands. Their slogan 'A Proud Generation of HomeBuilders' expresses Sam Langley's commitment to quality construction work as well as confidence in his generation to live up to this standard.
