Friends of Indiana Dunes are just that - more than 600 individuals who care about, preserve and promote the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State Park. These parks are priceless natural resources for pleasure and learning in the midst of the heartland's largest metropolitan area. Through financial support and volunteer work, the Friends, a non-profit organization, sponsor a variety of park events and activities that enhance understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the Indiana Dunes.
