La Porte County Symphony Orchestra presents Classic Concert - Celestial Splendor featuring Andrius Zlabys, Pianist on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Elston Performing Arts Center, Michigan City. This classical afternoon begins with a dialog between strings and piano in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4. This mature and dramatic concerto will be played in a brilliant performance by world renowned Pianist Andrius Zlabys which the Los Angeles Times called “contemplative and mesmerizing.” To complete the day, the mighty Symphony No. 2 by Sibelius will unfold in nationalistic splendor as the spirits of Finland and nature combine.
