Enjoy the hands-on, family activities available at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore's Douglas Center. Help feed the center's resident turtles or fish or join a ranger for a hike in Miller Woods.
On winter Saturdays with enough snow on the ground, you can even try out cross-country skiing. (Skis available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
