The Adventure of Treasure Island by Max Bush is a children's adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic. It is the tale of young Jim Hawkins (played by Ben Weibl/Julia Merryman), a spirited lad who feels stifled by the demands of helping his mother (Elena Lutze) run the family inn. Jim dreams of sailing ships and pirates, of wide open seas and far-away places; his mother would prefer he sweep the floor and tend to the customers. When a mysterious visitor arrives at the inn with an old trunk containing a treasure map, Jim seizes his chance for adventure. Soon he is sailing aboard the Hispaniola to Skeleton Island. During the voyage, Jim discovers that the crew and his new friend, Long John Silver (Sarah Ranfranz), are pirates who plan to dispose of Jim, the captain and the ship's doctor on the voyage home - and keep the treasure for themselves. Before he can do anything to stop them, Jim is captured by the pirates. Once on the island, however, Jim escapes and meets old Ben Gunn (Ben Keller), an eccentric, cheese-loving sailor who's been marooned on the island for three years. Together, Jim and Ben Gunn concoct a plan to outwit Silver and the pirates.

Other members of the cast include Lee Hanna, Laurin Katzmarek, Larissa Valdez, Kiera Quealy, Shelbie Sullivan, Stephanie Buehler, Kerbi Bowen, Jeremy Vasquez, Brittney Biddle, Pat Polowsky, Hannah Froman, Brook Kravitz, Emily Albertson, Brandon Biddle, Steven Sharp and Tucker Sawyer.

Working on costuming/props is Rebecca Uehling and sword fight choreography by Taylor Henderson.
