He is Co-founder of the Join the Abstinence Movement (J.A.M.) campaign. He shares his personal experience of becoming a teen father, and his inspiring tale of perseverance and triumph. He skillfully shares his testimony with interactive presentations that focuses on the significance of marriage, parenthood, and the "3 Principles of Abstinence". His methods are innovative, insightful, thought provoking, and have impacted the lives of thousands of youth and professionals from around the country.
He is Co-Founder of J.A.M. He is the "Must Have" speaker for this generation. He is an amazing, energetic, and talented young speaker, and was winner of the "Star Search" challenge at the 2007 National Abstinence Clearinghouse conference. He began presenting the message of abstinence at the age of 17, and has shared his inspiring testimony with thousands of youth from across the nation. He relates well with youth on a personal level, as he shares his experience of facing many of the same struggles and temptations that youth encounter.
Dr. Foley, MD, FAAP serves as Director of Education for a Lifetime which provides abstinence based sexual education to the community of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her responsibilities include curriculum development, training of presenters, program development as well as presentations to parent, teen, and educator groups on the topics of adolescent reproductive health, STI prevention and treatment, child and adolescent development, teen pregnancy, post abortion medical and psychological issues, and other related topics. The program she is responsible for currently reaches over 10,000 teens each year with medically accurate health information. In addition she is active clinically in private practice of pediatrics with a focus on adolescent gynecology. Her experience allows her to speak directly and passionately about the effects of sexual activity on the health of the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, social, and ethical/spiritual. As the mother of four children and two grandchildren, she is also able to compassionately speak to the complexity of the parent-child relationship. She is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.
