I live here in mid central Indiana on the banks of Lake Shafer. I have out a couple of bird feeders with sunflower seeds in them. At least 8 times this spring I had a normal looking male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak and female visit my feeders. But also along with the male, close by was a bird that looked exactly, my binoculars aren't that good, just like the male except the rose patch was yellow. Is this a rarity or is it a completely different bird? If it's a different bird it doesn't show up in my bird books. Thanks rickluc@comcast.net
