Answer:
If the veins in the leaves stay green but between them turns yellow, then this could be an iron deficiency called chlorosis. Fertilome liquid iron can correct this quickly. If entire leaf is yellow then I would suspect fungus. Fertilome liquid fungicide will not wash off in rain if sprayed 4 hours prior & dried before rainfall. This should be done every 2 weeks as roses are very susceptible to fungus all year. Red to maroon stems can suggest phosphorus deficiency. Check your soil with a good soil tester to determine its fertility.
