Wild grapevines are a major problem in my rose garden

Posted on October 17, 2006

Question:
Wild grapevines are a major problem in my rose garden and I cannot seem to get rid of them. What is the most efficient way to get rid of them for good?

Answer:
Cut the vines off and paint the stump with Fertilome Stump and Brush Killer. This absorbs into the sap and transfers to all connected roots. Be careful not to get any on the roses but with this application method it is very easy to control. Good luck, Chuck
