Question:
When is the best time to spray peach trees and with what? I live in Northern Illinois. Thank you!
Answer:
Peach trees can be sprayed first in the dormant season before leaf buds open. Trees may be dormant sprayed twice in fall and twice in spring. Then when leaves unfurl start to spray with Fertilome fruit Tree Spray. Four applications is the recommendation at specified intervals following label directions. Never spray when trees are in bloom as this will kill the honeybees that do the pollinating.
