Question:
Is there any general weed killer that I can use untile my myrtle is fullu established?
Answer:
Weed killer on Myrtle: The two products that might help you are Poast herbicide for grassy weeds that are in full growth and a weed preventer to keep any seeds from germinating. Unfortunately the broadleaf weeds will have to be attended by hand or you can apply Hi-Yield Kilzall very carefully to just the weed by using a sponge type applicator. If this touches the myrtle, it will kill it but it does not leach through the soil so is safe to use around it. Be careful! Good Luck, Chuck.
