Question:
We have severral Sea Green Junipers and we would like to know the proper way to trim them. Thanks! John & Barb
Answer:
Severe pruning should not be done in the hottest part of the season. As with many of the evergreen family, they can be pinched, sheared or headed back to control growth. Be especially careful on junipers not to go beyond the peripheral green zone of live foliage as the old woody growth does not dependably sprout new growth. Happy Gardening, Chuck
