Transplant Blackberry bushes

Posted on October 6, 2004

Question:
CAN YOU CUT DOWN, AND DIG UP ROOTS, AND TRANSPLANT. THANK YOU.

Answer:
Yes, it is hard to kill a blackberry or "bramble" type plant. However, it is good to take precautions so you do not loose the plant. Cut about 1 foot tall and then dig a rood ball. Make sure to use a plant stimulator with vitamin B-1 to lessen transplant shock and set on roots faster. Keep evenly watered.
