Snow Crabapple trees

Posted on January 16, 2005

Question:
For the past three or four years our Snow Crab apple trees have been losing their leaves early, starting about July. I think its a fungus.
What do you think and what should I do?

Answer:
Yes, it sounds lake a leaf disease of some kind. Fertilome Systemic Fungicide can help eliminate the problem but you must spray repeatedly. Start in EARLY spring and use as a preventative. See us for specific timing of spraying.
