Answer:
I do not recall mentioning any salt solution for blackberry. As far as I know, salt will also kill anything else it contacts and can linger in the soil. Hi-yield Kilzall will kill what it hits but is inactivated once it hits the soil. You can apply in a dilute solution to the foliage or undiluted on the stump after the top is cut off.
