Question:
Pekin and Indian runner ducks: 3 questions. Will the two breeds of ducks mate together? how do I prepare them
for a Pennsylvania winter? What is their lifespan? help?

This one was a real challenge. I think I have some of the information you need. The pekin ducks have the Indian runner in its ancestry so they are thought to be able to crossbreed. Both are very hardy ducks. For winterizing, a shelter or building insulated from wind and drafts, is best. Plenty of water for drinking and sometimes bathing. This should be kept fresh at least two times a day. Never let them run out of water. Use a waterer that keeps them from getting in the bowl as this unduly messes up the water and could also contain their droppings. Also, they will require 2-3 times more feed to keep their energy and fat levels up to get them through the cold. Lifespan is a little vague. Here are two websites to check for Pekin ducks:
