Question:
We have found a duckling that has lost its mother. it is about the size of a tennis ball. What should we feed it and how do we get it to drink water.
Answer:
Gently take the beak and push it into the water holder. It will immediately learn this and will drink quite readily. Make sure you are feeding it a good starter ration food. This has all the minerals & supplements for the captive bird. Also, do not be tempted to let it swim in a bowl of water at a young age. A chill can kill such a fragile duckling. Remember its mother is not there to warm it.
