Mushrooms have appeared in some of our indoor pots

Posted on December 30, 2001

Question:
Mushrooms have appeared in some of our indoor pots. Is this something we need to be concerned about? Should we repot these plants? More importantly, can I expect to see you & Bill looking for emu brats this year?
Nice website!
Kevin

Answer:
No, it is not a concern. Rake the soil around and that should disturb them. It is due to weather conditions and inert matter in the soil. Aerifying by raking should take care of it. If chemical control is preferred, use HiYield consan 20. Have an Emu brat for me, Chuck
