Mosquitoes in water tanks

Posted on May 5, 2003

Question:
I have mosquito larvea in my drinking water tanks. How can I get rid of them and still drink the water from the tank? Thank you. Wally.

Answer:
I do not know of a product safe for drinking that would kill mosquito larvae. Some farmers used to put a type of fish in their troughs to eat the larvae. You might be able to track that down at a local fish supplier. Good Luck, Chuck.
