Question:
Hello Chuck
I am going to Florida soon. I have 2) potted plants, aloe vera and a lavender plant. They will be in a heated basement for about 5 months without being watered. Would appreciate any advice you can give me.
Thanks
Max
Answer:
There are some very simple wick watering devices that can help you. There is usually a clay receiver attached to a wick that then is put into the soil around the plant. The other end of the wick goes into a bucket of water as large as you see fit. This wicking will only take place when the soil is dry enough to start the process. This is also great for people everyday that have a hard time with regular watering of plants. Good Luck, Chuck.
