Question:
I have several elevated garden boxes that I built with wood to allow me to garden without bending over. They are deteriorating from the moisture. Any ideas for replacement of the wood. I use them for vegetables. They look beautiful in my yard & I really don't want to eliminate them, just replace.
Answer:
Check with White Lumber in South Haven, In. for rough cut lumber. Let them know what you will use it for. 2 x 12 is good. I have used these on bridges I have made and they last for years with out any treatment. You could however, treat with natural Linseed oil without any danger
