Kill violets without killing the grass

Posted on June 14, 2006

Question:
I want to know how to kill violets all over my grass yard, without killing the grass. What product(s) could be used, and how to get such product(s)? Please give me an answer very soon, Overtaken with violets in southern Illinois, Noel

Answer:
Fertilome Weed Free Zone will kill violets in turf. This can be used anytime the temperature is above 50 degrees. Apply between mowings as you will have better results when there is as much foliage on the weeds as possible.
