Question:
Chuck,
I have tall ornamental grass that has been growing for about 5 years. Each year it becomes denser and harder to trim back and is tangling with my fence. This year I wanted to thin it out without luck. I have it trimmed to the ground but am unable to get a shovel into the ball of roots to dig it up. How can I kill it and remove the roots to ensure that it won't grow back?
Nanette
Answer:
Hi-Yield Kilzall will kill what it hits and kill root and all but will not harm the soil for replanting. Do not trim before you spray as we want as much foliage on the plant as possible. It may take a second spraying two weeks later. The hotter the temperature the better. Please follow label directions carefully.
