Question:
Hi Chuck,
I live in notheast Texas and have a beautiful front yard of St. Augustine. My neighbors have a bunch of pesky crabgrass that seems to be taking over. How can I get rid of this viney sort of grass?
Answer:
We are in a region that uses cool season grasses like bluegrass, rye, & fescues which are able to control crabgrass. However, all our remedies caution against using these particular products on St. Augustine grass and other southern grasses. I am sure there is something that can work but I am not familiar enough with St. Augustine or your region to help. You may try to call V.P.G. who manufactures Fertilome Lawn Products in Bohran, Texas. Phone #903-583-5501. Good luck,
Chuck
