Question:
My backyard is overrun by blackberry bushes. I also have an English Bulldog that spends time in the back yard. He is very sensitive to anything with a chemical in it. Is there a natural solution that will not harm him or us?
Answer:
You may try cutting them to the ground and treating with a salt solution to kill the stumps. Or, cut to the ground and treat with HiYield Kilsall directed at the stump only. This will systemically go through the sap to all parts of the plant (roots & runners) to give a total kill. Because you apply just to the stump, there is very little active ingredient used.
