Question:
Hi! I have a LARGE area of grapevines growing in my front yard about 3 feet from my perennial flower garden. I would like to get rid of the vines without affecting my flowers. How best to do it, and is now (3/31) a good time to do it in the Grand Rapids MI area?
Answer:
Cut the vines down and treat the stumps with Fertilome Brush Killer. This will keep the stump from not re-sprouting. By applying just to the stump it should not upset the garden plants.
