Dog food for Newfoundlands

Question:
I have 2 Newfs (both rescues). The older (6) has allergies and bad ears, under control now. I have had him on Innova Lamb & Rice about 1 yr & then switched to CA Nat Lamb & Rice for about 1 yr now--suggested by the store where I buy it. He has been having problems since Jan. with gas, bloating and it could turn serious. I am wondering if there is something going on with his food. Do you have any other suggestions for a natural food for his issues? Thanks.

Answer:
If you just changed to this new food the gas may be normal but should subside. If not, try a venison or rabbit diet as they are also good for allergies and may not give the gas or bloating. Good Luck, Chuck.
