Question:
I found a cocoon with a white insect with wings still attached to the top..the insect is alive..is he eating the cocoon....something brown is inside the cocoon..what is it???
Answer:
It is hard for me to identify this without seeing it. Sometimes a cacoon or catepilar will have parasitic insects on it that feed on it and kill it. I cannot say for sure that this is the case. Good luck, Chuck.
