Blackberry Bushes

Question:
QuestionI have a lot of blackberry bushes in my backyard. I did read your response posted September 27, 2002 "How do I get rid of blackberries in my yard?" My backyard slopes down to a green belt with a creek. My question is, will Hi-Yield Kilzall make its way down the slope and start killing the plants in the green belt and get into the creek. If so, do you have any other suggestions.

B.J. Rusunen

Answer:
Kilzall will not leach in the soil to kill other plants. It is inactivated once it hits soil. In fact, you must apply right on the plant you are trying to kill in an actively growing state to get good results. This is the beauty of this product. Please read and follow all label directions carefully. Good Luck, Chuck.
