These historic gardens are inspired by the 1933 Century of Progress Fair in Chicago and cover land traced with trails used for hundreds of years by Native Americans. The gardens are open from the second weekend of May through the last weekend of October. They are open Wed - Sun 10am – 4pm. Admission is $4 with a limit of $10 per family and children under 12, free.
The International Friendship Garden is accessed by walking earthen trails and lawns. A golf cart is available for those with mobility limitations.
The International Friendship Garden is also available as a wedding venue and hosts several cultural events throughout the year.
