Hike the easy .75 mile trail through Indiana's only "true" bog. Walk along a boardwalk placed upon a floating mat of sphagnum moss and observe carnivorous pitcher plants and other unique plants. Visiting the bog is available only through ranger guided tours. Tour details can be obtained at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Visitor Center or by calling the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center at 219-395-1882 or 219-926-2255.
