Picnic at this area that overlooks the lake. Picnic tables and shelters are available along with pit toilets and drinking fountains. This beach is a walkable distance from the National Lakeshore Dunewood Campground. Simply walk north from the campground along Broadway until you reach the beach. You may swim, however there are no lifeguards on duty and rip currents and waves can make swimming hazardous. There is an information board listing current part activities.
