The moderate Inland Marsh Trail offers 2 loops totaling 3 miles. Walk to the accessible overlook that has interpretive wayside exhibits. The trail skirts the edge of a marsh and crosses through an oak savanna. This is an excellent location for Indiana Dunes bird watching. Cross-country ski here when snow permits. There is parking for cars and a porta-potty, as well as a board listing current park activities.
