5/23/11: Part time Sales Consultant

Here Comes the Dress, an upscale bridal boutique, opening in mid-August in Valparaiso is seeking a part-time sales consultant. Ideal candidate requirements:

• Energetic, friendly and engaging with excellent communication both in person and on the telephone.
• Motivated and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
• Extreme attention to detail with an eye for store layout and smart merchandising techniques.
• Punctual with strong time management skills.
• Must be skilled on the computer, internet and email.
• A consistent positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• At least 5 years of bridal retail experience with the ability to close sales.
• Interest in a career in retail, marketing or business management a plus.

Job duties include:

• Assist clients with finding the right dress and restocking inventory following appointments;
• Steam dresses and prepare merchandise for the client;
• Assist the seamstress with fitting appointments;
• Maintain inventory information in computer system;
• Maintain sales floor appearance;
• Work under the direction of a manager or owner to assist in several other tasks.

Evenings and Saturdays are a must. Looking to hire between 7/18/11 and 8/8/11.
